Nearly all Willow presentations and curricula are written and vetted by our own staff, who have extensive knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and human trafficking and first-hand experience serving survivors in our local communities. Through active learning experiences, participatory exercises, and engaging group discussions, we help community members connect with the information and empower them to aid in Willow's mission to break cycles of violence and prevent new ones from beginning.

The Willow Domestic Violence Center is an accredited agency through the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Why is this important?

Professional Training

The Willow External Affairs team creates curriculum and presentations to educate local community members throughout our service area, free of cost. Additionally, our work with youth encompasses our goal of prevention and breaking cycles before they begin. Whether you are looking for information about our agency or want to learn the basics of domestic violence and human trafficking, we offer a variety of presentations and professional training sessions. We encourage community collaboration and can customize our presentations to meet your specific needs.

Female Presenter
Sydney kept us engaged and was down to earth even though it was a serious topic.
The presentation was engaging. It was not only relevant to my profession, but also applicable to my community.
I appreciated Heather's knowledge and compassion about the topic.
