Donate

The Willow Domestic Violence Center accepts donations online via credit cards, cash, and checks at our administrative offices at 1920 Moodie Road, Lawrence, Kansas 66046.

Every day, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking reach out to the Willow for help. Without funding from community members like you, we may not have the resources needed to assist them. Your support ensures that no call for help goes unanswered.

By donating to the Willow, you're not just helping one survivor - you're strengthening our mission to prevent abuse, support survivors, and advocate for lasting change.

What will your donation help fund?

$260 provides a week's worth of food for survivors and their families in our shelter.

$95 provides a survivor and their families with one safe night of shelter, which includes food, housing, access to Willow's advocacy and referral services, and help to get medical and mental health services.

Kristen's Story

The Willow is partnering with Christie Scanlin Dobson and Stormdoor Productions on her film, Kristen's Story. Kristen Nicole Powell’s story is one of resilience shaped by painful cycles of trauma. Trapped in the revolving door of the juvenile justice system, foster care, and human trafficking, she endured a constant cycle, with little support to break free.  A system failure that left her vulnerable and isolated. Despite these hardships, Kristen has found strength in sharing her story, using her voice to advocate for the need for healing, support, and systemic change to end the cycles of harm.
