COVID - 19

Covid-19 Response

The Willow Domestic Violence Center places the health and safety of survivors and the community at the forefront of everything we do. Like many other organizations in our area, we are currently evaluating our programs to maintain compliance with community health directions, as well as to protect clients and community members who seek our services. With that in mind, we have instituted the following program changes:

Office Hours

Our Moodie Road office will be open from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. daily for deliveries, appointments, and donation drop-offs.

All groups and library hours have been cancelled until we are notified it is safe to continue them.

Hotline

Our 24-hour hotline will continue as usual and can be accessed at

785-843-33333

The hotline can assist with questions about shelter, safety planning, information about our current services, and other questions.

COURT

Court Processes are changing regularly. If you have court scheduled, please read the information below or contact your court advocate.

Consulting

We are working with public health officials to ensure that both The Willow administrative offices and the shelter are up to date on the most recent information regarding COVID-19 and are complying with all best practice.

More to come

The situation is constantly evolving, and we are working to keep our programs and service up to date with as little disruption as possible to survivors.  The Willow will continually update via social media, email, and website updates as changes occur.
